Developing Story: Russian Vessel Allegedly Hit by Ukrainian Coastal Defense Forces
Reports are beginning to surface that another Russian vessel may have fallen victim to Ukrainian coastal defense forces.
Details of the Incident
It is alleged that the “Rescue Tug” Vasily Bekh was struck by a pair of anti-ship missiles while ferrying supplies for Russian forces on Snake Island. What makes this interesting is that the tug was said to have been fitted with a Thor Anti-Aircraft missile system when she was struck.
Current Status and Updates
It’s unknown at this time if the Bekh was simply damaged or actually sunk due to the attack. I am still trying to see if there is more info, so I can’t say for sure. But once more information becomes available, I will be sure to update. ~NC
