Strategic Advances by IDF
The IDF is continuing its methodical advance, clearing block by block, and has been pushing deeper inside the city. It has also been confirmed that they have made progress in the vicinity of Beit Hanoun and Beit Lahiya.
Hamas Communication Disruption
According to reports earlier today, Hamas announced that it has reportedly lost contact with several teams who are guarding hostages. This development might indicate disruptions in their communication channels.
IAF Airstrikes and Cross-border Tensions
IAF engaged in intense airstrikes on Nuseirat and central Gaza. The exchanges between Hezbollah and IDF have continued, with skirmishes ongoing. IDF fighter jets struck an “advanced” surface-to-air missile system in Lebanon which had fired at an Israeli drone overnight, the military says. The missile was intercepted by Israeli air defenses.
Operations in Southern Gaza
Southern Gaza: IDF seems to have extended their area of operation. They have made some gains as depicted on the map, aiming for a possible encircle of the remaining settlements. This means that the IDF has committed more of its units. It would be safe to say that there are at least 4-5 divisions conducting operations.
