Gaza Update
The IDF has continued its methodical and gradual advances inside the city.
Military Movements and Encirclements
The Pincer movement along the coast stands completed, linking the Northern and Southern groups. Hence, the IDF has secured the Al Shati camp.
The IDF had encircled the Shifa hospital building. As per the latest updates, they have launched an operation inside the building. Some Israeli sources claim that Hamas has its primary base of operations inside the hospital.
The picture in the Beit Hanoun area is quite unclear for now. The advances have not been confirmed by reputable sources, so it will be covered in the next update.
Recent Shelling and Rocket Attacks
Israeli artillery reportedly shelled Southern Lebanon in the recent episode. Nothing much escalatory, however. Southern Israel faced rocket attacks.
Back-door Talks and Diplomacy
As said in our last post, back-door talks seem to be continuing. The purpose is not yet revealed. The head of Israel’s security services recently departed Cairo after a meeting on the Gaza war. There was another flight to Cairo last week, right after Mossad’s chief met the CIA head in Qatar. That was Mossad head’s second Doha visit since the war started.
We are keeping a close watch on the situation and will provide further updates.
