Clash Details
A significant border clash took place between the PLA and the Indian Army on the 9th of December. As per various claims, it has been reported that the PLA tried to claim an unmanned peak, apparently on Indian territory, which became a site of a clash between the two armies. Around 40 troops from both sides sustained injuries.
Resolution
The matter was resolved when the commanders of both sides sat and talked it out on the 10th of December.
Historical Context
The 2020 clashes took place in the Ladakh sector, which is thousands of kilometers away from the current site of the clash in Arunachal Pradesh in India, which has been long claimed by China as its territory.
