Introduction
Greetings. We are going to drop a mini-series on what a potential war between the US and China could look like. This mini-series will touch on potential causes for war and will focus on tactics, strategies, capabilities, and a few likely scenarios on how a conflict could be prosecuted. It will also address factors with details, composition of forces, and operations, and offer assessments associated with each scenario, with a likely outcome. After all, this is why this site exists, not for political theater, but to discuss strategies and defense-related subjects.
Background
This mini-series is a “modified” version of its original format. It aims to serve as an updated version that accounts for the deepening Sino-Russian alignment that greatly affects official OPLANS in place. This mini-series will not disclose any classified information, nor disclose any further background information. However, upon polite request, a citations page containing open-source information will be available via IM.
This mini-series is intended to serve as a precursor to an upcoming future project that three Defensionem members are collaborating on. This upcoming project (shameless plug) focuses on a proposed Indo-US strategic alliance as co-equals.
