Update on the Missile Strikes on Polish Soil
Missiles that landed in Poland were fired by Ukraine – BBC reports.
Incident Details and Initial Reports
The Associated Press news agency is quoting three US officials as saying a preliminary assessment suggests the missile that hit Poland was fired by Ukrainian forces at an incoming Russian missile.
The officials, who are not authorized to discuss the matter publicly, spoke to AP on the condition of anonymity.
Earlier on Tuesday, President Biden said it was “unlikely” the missile that hit Poland was fired from Russia.
The missile landed in the village of Przedwodow near the border with Ukraine, killing two people.

End of quote.
As discussed on our FB group last night and early this morning, the two missiles that impacted on Polish sovereign soil were most probably Ukrainian air defence missiles fired by a (Ukrainian) S-300 battery.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, more than 30 infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of Russian strikes on the 15th of November. Earlier, the General Staff of Ukraine stated that Russian assets fired around 90 missiles at Ukrainian targets, 77 of which were shot down by the Ukrainian air defence. Therefore one can affirm with absolute certainty that the 13 surviving Russian cruise missiles hit 30 targets (insert sarcasm here).
Analysis and Future Expectations
Depending on various sources, between 90 and 130 missiles were fired at Ukraine yesterday.
Expect statements from several NATO member states’ officials today.
