Just weeks after the loss of the cruiser Moskva, reports are starting to surface that another Russian vessel has fallen victim to Ukrainian Anti-Ship missiles.
Unconfirmed Reports and Emerging Evidence
Although yet to be confirmed, videos have begun to surface which supposedly show the Russian Missile Frigate Admiral Makarov on fire, after being struck by Neptune missiles.
The Makarov is an Admiral Grigorovich-class frigate and one of the more modern vessels the Russian fleet has in the Black Sea. It is the third ship of her class. Now, while Russian officials have not said anything on the rumors at this time, naval tracking sites reported that a Russian rescue ship (SPK-46150) was dispatched to the last known location of the Admiral Makarov.
