United States to Supply Ukraine with MIM-104 Patriot System

Significant Announcement
Recently, it has been announced that the United States has agreed to supply the Ukrainian Armed Forces with the MIM-104 Patriot system. Though it is not known just how many units will be sent to Ukraine, elements of the AFU are expected to arrive in the U.S. as soon as next week.
Potential Game Changer
Now, this acquisition could prove to be a massive game changer in favor of Ukraine, as the Patriot was designed with the intent to not only shoot down enemy aircraft, but missiles as well. This capability would make it difficult for Russian forces to successfully target and attack Ukrainian infrastructure and civilian population centers.
Readiness and Capability
It is believed that the first Ukrainian Patriot units may not be ready for a few months. But the AFU have shown that not only are they fast learners, but can master any weapon system given to them. So it is very possible that the Patriot can do the same thing the HIMARS did when they first arrived in Ukraine.
